Management Change in ExxonMobil Norway
Following three and a half years as Managing Director of ExxonMobil in Norway and North Sea Production Manager, Lee M. Tillman will become Vice President, Engineering, ExxonMobil Development Company in Houston effective September 1, 2010.
Tom Schuessler will replace Lee.  Tom is an American citizen and is currently with the ExxonMobil affiliate in Malaysia.

ExxonMobil has been an active player on the Norwegian exploration scene since 1965, when Esso Norge AS was awarded the first three exploration licenses on the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS). ExxonMobil has over the last 10 years in particular actively explored the deepwater blocks of the Norwegian Sea and areas around existing infrastructure in the North Sea and Haltenbanken.

ExxonMobil is the second largest oil and gas producer on the Norwegian continental shelf, having equity in more than 20 producing gas and oil fields, and an interest of about 10% in Norwegian infrastructure for gas transportation and treatment. The company operates the Jotun, Balder, Ringhorne and Sigyn fields.

The Esso refinery at Slagentangen south of Oslo enjoys a secluded location on the Oslo Fjord. The refinery converts crude oil into fuels for sea, land and air transport, as well as heating products. Production capacity is about 6 million metric tons of crude oil per year.
