The refinery’s health and environment program is extensive and goal-orientated. High priority areas are:
- Action to prevent hearing loss
- Monitoring of and protection against hazardous substances
Wearing safety equipment is mandatory within the refinery area (safety glasses/goggles, hard hat, safety shoes). In high-risk areas or in special situations, the wearing of additional equipment such as hearing protection or fresh air apparatus is mandatory.
