ExxonMobil is the fourth largest oil and gas producer on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
Our refinery at Slagentangen has a production capacity of 6 million tons of oil products per year, and its production is based on crude oil from the North Sea.
We have a market share of about 21% of total sales of oil products in Norway. The number of gas stations is around 310.
As a supplier of base oils and a marketer of finished lubricating oils, we offer the full range of synthetic lube oils, a broad array of base oils, asphalt and special products.
Esso has 310 stations throughout Norway, from Kirkenes in the far north to Kristiansand at the country’s southernmost tip.
For our business customers we offer a Esso Company Card. With the Esso MasterCard private customers can buy products and services with and receive up to 40 days interest-free credit.
Lube oils and services are available directly from our production facilities as well as from a number of other authorised distributors.
We have coastal stations in every main port from Egersund in the south to Båtsford in the north.
With its local knowledge, Esso Energi AS offers speedy delivery of heating products to both business and private (home) markets.
Customers in Norway are served from our Scandinavian office in Gothenburg.
LPG is marketed in Norway by Progas AS on behalf of Esso Norge AS.
